About me

After college, I got a job with the National Park Service, working with the Klamath Inventory and Monitoring Network. I learned how to drive standard, packed my life into one truckload, and drove solo from the Atlantic to Pacific in four days for this new experience. With that position, I worked with natural sciences data and bibliographies and technical writing. I also got the chance to do field work and trainings. I was stationed in Redwood National and State Parks, Lava Beds National Monument, Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, and Lassen Volcanic National Park, all in northern California. Oregon Caves National Monument and Crater Lake National Park (both in southern Oregon) round out the six parks in the Klamath Network.

After working in that position for two years, I got another job with the Klamath I&M Network as the Program Assistant. In April 2007, I packed up again and moved to Ashland, OR. I love the area and my new job. I've met a lot of great people and hope to keep meeting more and more motivated and positive people.
