Belly Dance

While at Redwood in 2005, living in the middle of nowhere, I started taking classes from Shoshanna, a fabulous belly dancer. I definitely got hooked! I have continued taking classes and performing since then, everywhere I’ve lived, including with Bahiya in Klamath Falls and with Deeta, Shamirah, and Zaramaya in Redding. Currently, I am part of a professional bellydance troupe in the Rogue Valley, The Sahara Bellydancers. We do wonderful shows showcasing the traditional bellydance styles and fresh remixes.
